Fresh from his big win at the VMAs, the versatile Bieber took a little time to host the following explanation of the new Mass translation coming in November:
Word for Word [Edge] from Life Teen on Vimeo.
Well, anyway, whoever this kid is, the video is nicely done. Sometimes it’s just good to have everything put in really simple terms, with visual aids and stuff, by someone with extremely white teeth, don’t you think?

Hooray for the sanity of today’s youth.
Sister Mary Martha!! This is an honor. TSOW readers: she’s been crackin’ knuckles over at her blog since 1948–that’s right, WAYYY before everyone else was using the internet. Check her out at asksistermarymartha.blogspot.com for educational Catholic fun and excitement. Thanks again, lady!
Should I be worried that this video was produced by Life Teen? They’re not usually my go-to organization for catechesis.
Hi Darla. I think I understand your reservations–I’ve never been a big supporter of the whole idea of a Life Teen Mass, because of the way it tends to break up families on the very day when everybody’s supposed to be together. That said, the video is good. Full cred to Life Teen.
I’m not a big fan of the Life Teen Mass, but their materials are generally very good. Mark Hart, the “Bible Geek,” does quite a lot of stuff for Life Teen and his stuff is very substantive. Dan, your title for this post is cracking me up.

Hi Dorian! Yes, I like Mark Hart. I used his materials with a teen Bible Study group I led not long ago, and they responded well to him.
I’m glad you stopped by! Thanks for the link…that’s a lot of Bieb for one site…
